March 2020: In the midst of lockdown, physicist Cameron Bravo, PhD, begins tinkering with drink concoctions in his spare time. His former UCLA physics colleague Krishna Choudhary, PhD, becomes the willing test pilot. After years of experimentation, data analysis, and theoretical formulation, they begin to realize:

these drinks are really, really, really good.

March 2024: That quarantine side-project has evolved into Standard Model Beverages, named after the Standard Model of Particle Physics. Cameron and Krishna team up with Cameron’s childhood friend, Robert Newman, an operations whiz who knows manufacturing as well as the scientists know quarks.

Their shared mission: prove that science is not just for understanding the universe and our place in it, but for enhancing it - one perfectly balanced beverage at a time.
